BIOGRAPHY  
Born in 1982, USA. Grew up in South Korea.

Taeyoon Choi is a Seoul-based artist working with performance and digital media. Choi's works intervene into urban media spaces humorously, in order to deliver critical commentary on contemporary digital culture. Choi is involved in interdisciplinary collaboration with various networks and collectives including: FunOut Urban Game Inc, DOTPLAY Mobile Hacking Workshop, and Upgrade! Seoul. Choi earned a B.F.A at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and completed a M.S. at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Choi is a 2008 commissioned resident artist at the Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology, NYC.

최태윤은 퍼포먼스와 뉴 미디어를 중심으로 다양한 실험을 통해서 현 시대의 디지털 문화에 대한 유머러스 하고 비판적인 작업을 한다. 그는 다른 분야의 전문가와 공동작업과 도시공간의 시스템에의 개입에 관심이 있다. 최태윤은 업그레이드!서울, ‘다같이 나가 놀자’ 펀아웃, 돗 플래이 모바일 해킹, CTR 문화지형 연구소, 파라사이트 택티컬 미디어 네트워크 등의 네트워크 안에서 활동한다.
